PuppyNS provides secondary DNS for zones you already host somewhere else. It does not edit records, host primary DNS, provide recursive DNS, or replace your primary nameserver.
Only add domains or zones that you own or are authorized to manage. You are responsible for your primary DNS, your zone contents, and the delegation changes you make at your registrar or parent zone.
PuppyNS needs your primary nameserver to allow zone transfers. If transfers are blocked, unavailable, or misconfigured, PuppyNS may not be able to serve the zone.
Do not use PuppyNS for illegal, abusive, phishing, malware, spam, or harmful activity. Do not attack, overload, scan, or interfere with the service or other users.
PuppyNS may remove abandoned, misconfigured, abusive, harmful, or unauthorized zones. Unfinished setups may also be removed so the service stays tidy.
PuppyNS is provided best-effort and does not include an uptime guarantee. DNS outages, transfer failures, primary DNS problems, registrar mistakes, and delegation errors can happen.
PuppyNS may change, pause, or discontinue the free service. If a change affects your zone, the status page or operator communication should give you the next useful step when practical.
